About the Role
novoMOF is seeking a Material Specialist / Sorbent Development Lead to drive our research and development activities in the synthesis and characterization of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs). With a specific focus on the development of industrially-viable MOFs for CO2 capture

Key Responsibilities

• Lead in the synthesis development and optimization of MOF materials.
• Manage in-depth characterization techniques, including PXRD, TGA, BET, and other analytical techniques.
• Perform data analysis for internal and external reporting.
• Support and collaborate with the process development team, to research, design and validate material development to fit within CO2 capture processes
  

Key Skills & Experience

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong track record in material development and synthesis.
• Hands-on experience in scale-up operations.
• Proficiency in material characterization and analysis (PXRD, BET, Isotherms, TGA, SEM, etc.)
• In-depth understanding of Metal-organic Framework chemistry.
• Experience in collaboration with adsorption process experts.
• Independent, analytical thinker with a collaborative and pragmatic working style.
